Ensure correct receipt, quantity control, storage and security of stock and non-stock items
Discuss with suppliers / manufacturers recommended spares lists for plant and equipment.
Ensure all stock is recorded in the CAFM system (Maximo)
Carry out some minor PPM activities e.g. ladder inspections (mobile and fixed)
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Estates stores, involving the requisitioning of materials, stock control, goods receiving and dealing with invoice and delivery queries.
Management of the supplier library and maintain contact with suppliers
Ensure Purchase orders are receipted correctly and sent to finance on time.
Ensure best value for money obtaining competitive quotes
