Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of acquisition strategy, deal execution, and the early stage progression of sites. The role suits someone commercially sharp, well connected, and confident operating in complex urban and planning environments.

• Negotiate land transactions including outright purchases, options, promotions, joint ventures, and conditional contracts.
• Support planning strategy and negotiations to help drive schemes toward consent.
• Identify and manage risk throughout the acquisition process.
• Prepare and evaluate financial appraisals, budgets, and acquisition strategies.
• Source and secure land opportunities aligned with the company’s mixed use development strategy.
• Lead due diligence across planning, technical, commercial, legal, and environmental matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and advisers.

Requirements

A London based developer of mixed use assets is seeking an experienced Acquisition Lead to drive the sourcing and securing of new development opportunities across the capital. You may have experience in Land Acquisition, Capital Markets, Development Acquisitions or Investment Management.

• Proven track record in land acquisition, development, or agency roles within London.
• Confident negotiator with an established agent and landowner network.
• Able to work independently while contributing at senior leadership level.
• Strong understanding of the London land market and planning system.
• Commercially astute with solid financial and appraisal capability.
