The role of Planning Engineer involves collaborating with planning teams to support project delivery, verifying tenders and schedules for compliance, and supporting project management to ensure timely and profitable delivery. The engineer will lead planning for medium‑complexity projects or sections of larger programmes, develop detailed plans considering logistics and site constraints, and interface with project teams for progress reporting and contract obligations.
Key responsibilities also include monitoring productivity and progress, capturing data to inform performance, communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams, integrating sustainability and health & safety into programme design and procurement, and coordinating team activities to contribute to net‑zero carbon goals.

Candidates must hold a degree in construction or an equivalent field and possess professional certifications such as PMP or PMI‑SP. They should demonstrate strong expertise in project controls, planning/scheduling, earned value management, and lead the application of planning and scheduling methodologies across projects.
The position is classified as MoS Level 5, Class E3, requiring 12+ years of experience, with a salary band of SAR 25K‑35K. Note that obtaining a visa in Saudi Arabia is subject to a criminal record check, qualifications and may have age restrictions.
