The Role

Tasks

As a Surface Land/Environmental Administrator, you will be responsible for providing critical administrative support for projects using systems such as the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) OneStop and the Electronic Disposition System (EDS). You will work closely with project managers and team members to provide a coordinated and timely response to client surface land requests including project set-up, tracking, initiation, completion and submission of client applications. -Liaise with stakeholders including landowners, government agencies, and clients -Support regulatory application submissions (AER, EDS, EPEA, DRAS, etc) -Maintain electronic filing systems for audit readiness -Maintain land and environmental project databases and tracking systems -Assist in the preparation of environmental reports and deliverables -Ensure all documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements

What You Bring

-Preference will be given to those individuals with expertise in/and knowledge and application of the Master Schedule of Standards and Conditions in review of survey plans and completion of Public Land Applications. -Diploma or certificate in Land Administration, Environmental Sciences, or a related field -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Familiarity with Alberta regulatory frameworks (AER, AEP, etc.) -Minimum of 2 years’ experience in surface land or environmental administration (oil & gas sector preferred) -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with land systems (e.g., IRIS, AbaData, ETS) is an asset -Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
