Provide tactical leadership for the preparation and maintenance of detailed project execution strategies, including contracting strategies, construction plans, schedules, and budgets
Support the Pre-Construction Department by actively participating in the contracting RFP process for assigned projects through contract execution
Provide strategic leadership and direction for projects from late-stage development through the final development phase, approximately 6–12 months before the start of construction
Oversee the balance-of-plant process, preparation of turbine installation bid documents, and the Request for Proposal process, and assist with the negotiation of construction contracts
Ensure successful project execution by implementing construction management tools and best practices for each project
Provide leadership during construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, environmental, landowner, and other project requirements are met or exceeded
Manage integration between development and construction execution functions for committed projects

Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, performing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, organizational commitment, and confidentiality
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record for the use of company or rental vehicles, with ability to drive to offsite meetings and or site locations
Knowledge of U.S and Canada construction labor relations and familiarity with industry standards and codes, including UBC, IBC, ACI, AISC, CRSI, NFPA, and ANSI
Must be available to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time by airplane and car
Expertise in construction management for large projects, including contract management, procurement, supply chain, environmental, building permitting, and transportation logistics
Experience with project and construction management software platforms such as Procore and Microsoft Project Online
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related technical field
At least 15 years of experience in utility scale energy, including renewable energy or industrial construction or capital project management
Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and drawings in AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software, as well as land surveying methods, aerial photography, mapping (including UTM and NAD coordinate systems), and geospatial references
