Are you passionate about environmental protection and regulatory compliance? Join us as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist and help us lead the way in sustainability. You’ll ensure our environmental permits meet the latest standards, supporting efforts to reduce emissions to land, air, and water.

  • Identify and communicate risks related to permits and compliance.
  • Provide technical permitting expertise for air and waste activities, ensuring compliance with the Industrial Emissions Directive.
  • Respond to DEFRA and Environment Agency consultations and represent us at industry groups.
  • Lead permit applications and variations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Interpret and communicate environmental legislation and permit requirements.

  • Understanding of sewage treatment processes.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or environmental field.

  • Knowledge of anaerobic digestion, emissions management, and waste regulations.
  • Experience with environmental permitting, BAT, and EA guidance.

Salary: £43,120 – £59,000 + excellent benefits
