This individual will primarily be responsible for: bridge design/drafting assignments requiring advanced working knowledge of bridge design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques in bridge.
Maintains drawing database
May supervise and train CAD staff
Coordinates work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control
The person in this position will make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity and may perform some multifaceted calculations
Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards
This person will develop technical drawings and plans using Bentley software (Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler)

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products (Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler)

High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree a plus)
Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
Requires minimal supervision to perform day to day tasks
3+ years of relevant experience (FDOT experience is a plus)
Ability to receive direction, work with a team, and work independently
