  • Assist the jointer in carrying out jointing activities including excavation and reinstatement of joint holes.
  • Delivery of work to maintain productivity expectations.
  • Carry out risk assessments and work to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safety standards and emergency procedures are maintained
  • Contribute to deliver team objectives
  • Maintain safe standards throughout the delivery of work
  • Delivery of Highways Lighting and network connection projects in and out of core regional geographic area.
  • Assist the jointer in Preparation of cables for jointing
  • Driving and operating general and specialist company vehicles appropriate to the role.
  • Delivery of ICP connections on electrical distribution networks.

  • Appropriately populated NERS passport
  • ECS Card and appropriately populated HERS portfolio
  • HESA 101, 102, 103, 105, 106 and 201 (or equivalent)
  • Full clean UK driving licence with flexibility to work on multiple sites across a wide geographic area.
  • Current HGV operator’s licence and experience in HIAB use for column installation / removals
  • Full G39 qualification.
  • Completion of a suitable Joiners Mates course and civil/construction experience.
  • Emergency First Aid at Work certification.
  • Proficiency in understanding operational and 1:500 electrical network diagrams
  • Current Driving licence up to 7.5T
  • Manual Handling (HESA 104) or equivalent
  • Skills in basic electrical competencies
