  • Perform routine site inspections; identify and resolve unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Lead EHS promotional, motivational, and awareness programs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site EHS induction trainings and prepare/implement site-specific EHS training calendars.
  • Develop and execute project-specific EHS Plans covering all phases of site activities.
  • Monitor implementation of Toolbox Talks, LMRA (Last Minute Risk Assessment), and Permit to Work systems.
  • Turbine, Generator, Gearbox installation, Boiler erection and commissioning
  • Organize medical camps and verify fitness records of site personnel.
  • Enforce Siemens Energy’s EHS guidelines, targets, and rewards & consequences policy.
  • Securing the supply chain and necessary minerals
  • Assist in preparing Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), SOPs, and Emergency Response Plans.
  • Collaborate with contractors, review their EHS performance, and support the continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update legal and compliance registers; communicate changes to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure safety of lifting tools, tackles, scaffolding, and other equipment.
  • Strengthening electrical grids
  • Report site EHS performance monthly to the Segment EHS Manager and ensure timely incident reporting and investigation.
  • Advise and assist site management in complying with legal EHS requirements and implementing Siemens Energy’s EHS Management System.
  • Conduct kick-off meetings with contractors; assess their EHS manpower and equipment readiness.

  • Skilled in EHS planning, audits, HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment), contractor evaluation, and employee training.
  • Well-versed in EHS procedures, compliance standards, and legal regulations.
  • Professional: Diploma/Advanced/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS practices in heavy equipment erection, mechanical works, and commissioning activities.
  • Proficient in preparing EHS MIS reports and delivering performance presentations to management.
  • Additional certifications such as SITRUST Training or First Aid Certification are preferred.
  • 10–12 years of overall experience in EHS management at EPC/construction project sites.
  • Effective stakeholder management and ability to influence safety culture.
  • Minimum 5 years as an independent EHS in charge at a project site.
  • Basic: Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Hands-on experience in power plant projects, including:
  • Strong documentation, analytical reporting, and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong coordination, leadership, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English and Hindi is essential.
