Overview

Promote and specify Oldcastle APG building products to architects/designers in PA.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Create new business by cultivating leads or leveraging relationships with new and existing design professionals. -Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, key customer segments, and competitive positioning -Coordinate market research activities to understand designer's needs and preferences -Create industry visibility and strong social ties through participation in industry related groups and activities. -Build Brand acceptance, trial and preference. -Maintain positive working relationships with all company and team members. -Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue and growth goals. -Coordinate as needed with production teams and other internal functions to support the eventual specification and pricing needed.

What You Bring

-This position is remote, and this person must live in Philadelphia, PA. -Ability to travel up to 75% within territory and occasional travel outside territory -2+ years of experience working with Architect, Design & Engineering Firms -Ability to think strategically, with a track record of successfully implementing long-term plans -Understand the specification process and respect the design intent of the architect. -Skills in product application consulting -Sound business judgment, good time management, and organization skills -Must have valid driver's license -Presentation skills, both verbal and written -A working knowledge of the typical design project and customer decision-making processes -Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment
