The job holder is responsible for developing the financial aspects of projects within WTCO, this involves working closely with project teams to ensure financial accountability, budget compliance, and overall financial success of projects.
- Ensure conducting estimation of project costs and provide financial analysis for decision-making.
- Ensure conducting regular cost-benefit analysis to ensure optimizing resource allocation.
- Conduct financial forecasting to identify potential financial risks, opportunities, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to address any budgetary issues and ensure financial discipline.
- Ensure communicating financial performance, variances, and potential risks to relevant parties.
- Ensure engagement with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries and provide necessary information.
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures and instructions.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
- Provide input for the development of reports regarding operations, activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure presenting regular financial reports for project stakeholders and management to ensure alignment.
- Monitor project expenses and track budget utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment of financial plans with project objectives and organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure allocating financial resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, organizational policies, and project contracts.
