Create and update project progress schedules.
Identify, analyze, and study existing data sources and sets.
Prepare Technology briefs on new technologies related to the latest Innovations in the ITS field for the Client’s Innovation implementation teams managing the roads and drainage assets in the State of Qatar.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing management and clients reports.
Support and advise the client Management in the development of an ITS Innovation Lab and ITS Innovation Corridor in the State of Qatar. This includes the development of a strategy to support the implementation of the Client’s innovation test and training lab.
Coordinate and carry out discussions and meetings with the Road Management Centre Operations and other ITS infrastructure Teams to ensure the Client’s Innovation program and challenges are up to date.
Work with management to prioritize business information needs.
Present to external and internal stakeholders at all levels to accomplish the Client’s program goals.
Conduct research and identify and engage with Technology Vendors and Research entities to support the ITS Innovation strategy and program for Assets operated and maintained by our Client.
Capturing and amending process flow diagrams using Visio or similar.
Support the Client’s Innovation team in the management of Pilot schemes including the development of business cases by Technology Vendors and Research entities.
Produce presentations, circulars and other marketing material to promote achievements of the business.

Experience in large-scale computing power needed to support current ITS applications and future AI powered ITS applications.
Experience in utilizing innovative ITS technologies for asset operators / authorities to improve ITS network and infrastructure performance.
Working knowledge of road operations and maintenance contracts or procurement and supply chain management is considered an asset.
Strong business strategy development background.
Excellent oral and written English skills.
Exposure to analytical data and proficiency in working with MS Excel, MS Access, and overall understanding of database management are essential.
Exposure to and experience with the Road Operations Centre would be considered an asset.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
Experience with Innovative ITS technologies and infrastructure
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Experience in current ITS infrastructure in the market
Time-management skills – ability to work under pressure with dynamic deadlines.
Advanced PowerPoint skills to develop dynamic stories and present analyses is required.
Advanced experience in MS PowerPoint is required.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment and build effective relationships with the Client.
Advanced experience in MS Excel is required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, procurement, business administration or any related field from a Western country (required).
Well-developed written communication skills in the preparation of presentations, technical reports, correspondence, and proposals are mandatory.
A minimum of 10 years post-graduate work experience is required.
Experience with Cloud hosting, AI, CAM as the current trending ITS innovations.
Awareness of current technologies in the ITS field. Prior experience with developing and implementing ITS Innovations would be beneficial.
Understanding ITS utilization in transportation and traffic management is considered an asset.
Ability to work independently to firm deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities.
Experience with ATMS System integration with other field devices and applications with a focus on Innovative practices.
