- Assure the safe operation, inspection and maintenance of the HVAC and Building Services infrastructure operated by RRSL.
- Provide design, modification and build assurance to the appropriate Rolls-Royce Design Authorities.
- Ensure appropriate and up-to-date design standards are in place (and being followed) for the HVAC and Building Services Infrastructure operated by RRSL.
- Ensure the design intent for HVAC and Building Services Infrastructure is maintained throughout the asset’s lifecycle.
- Be responsible for assuring and authorising significant changes to infrastructure operated by RRSL.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
We are looking for an experienced Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Building Services Engineer to join the Infrastructure Design Authority to act as the Intelligent Customer and SME for all matters relating to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Building Services/Utilities.
- Experienced in the design, construction, and operation of regulated and conventional infrastructure within the UK.
- Capable of taking a risk-based pragmatic view and have good technical skills including problem solving and decision making.
- Familiar with the Nuclear sector and its working practices is desirable.
- Familiar with the latest related Euro Codes, British Standards, Codes of Practice and Guidance Documents.
- Degree qualified Chartered Engineer holding registration with an appropriate professional body, e.g. Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
