May instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures.
Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
May assist with producing reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends.
Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff.
Help identify and mitigate items that may arise from providing and installation non-basis of design equipment.
Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Create and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures.
Participate in the development of specifications to ensure quality control.
Confer with other departments as needed to define client requirements and expectations.
Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment.
Inspection of bolt up joints for proper gaskets and correct bolt up.
Testing welders on-site for qualification & Continuity Management.
Participate in all applicable inspections and tests. Also perform follow-up inspections and examinations as necessary to ensure continued compliance with the requirements of the contract documents.
Witness and inspection of pressure tests
Obtaining the proper sign offs from the client
Review and update standard operating procedures or quality assurance manuals.
Verification of materials meeting the requirements
Identify, document, track, and ensure the repair or replacement of all non-conforming work in their designated areas of responsibility.
In-process examination of construction activities-Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping
Reviewing and acceptance of inspection reports
Make customer site visits.
Preparing requests for the site NDE services
Instruct vendors or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies.
