Maintains a complete understanding of all contractual obligations, and ensures executed agreements and contracts are in place.
Creates the weekly and monthly Project Cost reports and presents alongside the Project Manager.
Follows processes for systems and communication lines on site and ensure implementation is consistent.
Ensures QA/QC and Environmental processes are implemented according to the plan and are consistently adhered to.
Participates in daily and weekly status and progress reports of construction on site.
Provides Earned Value Analysis by tracking progress and measuring performance.
Resolves issues with contracts and subcontracts.
Utilizes Cash Flow Models with cash flow analysis and preparation.
Reviews and understands schedule as it ties to contractual milestone dates.
Supports Subcontractor Change Management by reviewing subcontractor changes and assessing impact to overall budget and forecast.
Provides Risk Analysis by assessing and evaluating project risk at the funding stage and throughout project execution, compiling data and risk analyses.
Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
Supports Estimating during budget setup, following standard WBS and cost code structure.
Develops and manages project cost reports.
Coaches other project controls staff, Project Controls Manager I, Project Accountant, Cost Administrators, including best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks.
Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Supports development and implementation of project execution plan.
Produces change orders and liaises with counterpart in client organization to ensure change orders are processed and approved by the client.
Forecasts and analyzes trends, develops estimate to complete costs, analyzes commitments.
Collects data necessary for daily/weekly/monthly of work completed.
Assesses risks and makes recommendations for risk mitigation and contingency management.
Reviews subcontractor progress and performance and supports payment applications.
Supports Change Management by tracking and analyzing project changes to budget and scope, facilitating the change management process.
Assists Construction Director and Project Manager in client negotiations as they relate to executing contracts and change orders.
Provides Cost Variance Analyses and variance to budget and the prior forecast.
Directs, guides, and coaches Project and Field Engineers to ensure activities on site are understood and following established processes through quality checks.
Complies with the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
Operates Company aligned vehicle on project sites and business trips.

7 or more years’ relevant experience in project controls/commercial management/project management (construction environment a plus) required.
Intermediate experience with Primavera P6.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
Intermediate experience with job costing or accounting software – knowledge of IFS, Procore, HeavyJob and HeavyBid an advantage.
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Visio, cost databases).
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong or proficient understanding of cost and change management
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people and approaches.
Ability to travel domestically up to 50% required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of prime contract and subcontracts and identifies all gaps, risks, opportunities and deliverables.
Understanding of safety and OSHA requirements.
Strong writing and reporting skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, construction management, accounting, or 8 years’ related experience required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
