  • Manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Request quotes and oversee all purchases; place and manage all orders and acknowledgements.
  • Assist designers in answering RFI’s and processing submittals.
  • Work with Interior Designers to develop and maintain FF&E specifications and budgets by project.
  • Assist with upkeep of resources in database.
  • Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with design team and vendors.
  • Responsible for follow-up on all purchase orders with vendors, request acknowledgement, and proforma invoices as necessary.
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure purchase orders meet company standards and the product is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Assist with creation of cashflow, status reports and budgets as directed.
  • Work with Director to determine deliverable schedule for projects.
  • Research and maintain industry knowledge, changes, and best practices.
  • Support Interior Designers with day-to-day purchasing, data entry and operations.
  • Track orders, deliveries, and shipments.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the library by meeting with vendor representatives to increase awareness of new products and material/catalog updates.
  • Manage third party warehouse deliveries and inventory.
  • Research and source materials, fixtures, furniture, window treatments and accessories.

  • Communicates well verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with writing furniture specifications and procurement procedures
  • Ability to work with Interior Designers and Procurement team to ensure design intent is met with FF&E deliverables.
  • Adept technical knowledge of installation coordination of FF&E furnishings, decorative lighting, drapery and other related interior design items.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
  • An open mind for new ideas and creative methods
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited school
  • Competent understanding of the design and procurement process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Bluebeam.
  • 5+ years related experience in multifamily/hospitality interior design
  • Knowledgeable of appropriate costs, budgeting and estimating techniques for FF&E and finish materials.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
