Tasks

-Prepare proposals for traffic engineering design projects. -Prepare traffic operations analysis to support traffic design projects. -Manage work scope, schedule, and budget of traffic engineering design projects. -Prepare plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates for traffic signals, lighting, ramp metering, transportation electrical systems, signing, pavement delineation, and construction stage traffic handling.

What You Bring

-BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering -Knowledge of using AGI and/or VISUAL photometric analysis software -Registered as a Professional Engineer in Civil, Electrical, or Traffic Engineering. preferably in California. If registered outside California, it is expected to be registered in California within 2 years. -10+ years of experience in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for traffic signals, lighting, ramp metering, transportation electrical systems, signing, pavement delineation, and construction stage traffic handling. -Knowledge of using Auto-Turn software -Knowledge of using Synchro and SimTraffic traffic analysis software -Effective communication skills, written and verbal. -Proficiency in using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
