Hydrographic Sales Manager - Marine

Description

The Hydrographic Sales Manager will drive commercial growth of Fugro’s marine survey services, forging strategic relationships with coastal infrastructure and government clients while promoting solutions such as lidar mapping, multibeam sonar and remote sensing. The position offers a base salary between $80,000 and $128,000 CAD.

• Lead by example, prioritising quality, health & safety, security and environmental protection.
• Collaborate with the Director of Hydrography and commercial team to uncover market insights and secure projects.
• Partner with Key Account Managers to align client needs with international aid and funding opportunities.
• Drive revenue growth through early client engagement, consultative selling and networking at events.
• Conduct market assessments and develop go‑to‑market strategies for hydrographic services.
• Establish and manage regional partnerships and government relationships.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for contacts, leads and opportunities.
• Assess opportunities in coastal resilience, blue carbon and marine protected areas.
• Promote Fugro’s hydrographic solutions, including lidar mapping, multibeam sonar and remote sensing.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in Canada without restrictions and hold a valid passport for international travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in ecological, environmental, geological, geospatial, marine sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in government contracting, preferably in surveying or hydrography.
• At least 5 years experience in tendering, contract or project management.
• Strong understanding of geo‑data services and proficiency with computers, software applications and CRM tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time.
