Electrical Superintendent (Power Plants/Solar) - Kiewit Power Constructors

Description

• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work.
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule
• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing the performance of safety, quality and production
• Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
• Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate

• 5+ years’ work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work. Candidates for this role are not required to have Superintendent experience, those who have performed as a foreman or general foreman are encouraged to apply.
