The Senior Data Scientist holds a leadership role within the data team, bringing extensive experience to bear on complex and ambiguous business challenges. They play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's analytical strategy, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to provide innovative solutions. Collaborating seamlessly with members of the DNA team, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders across the enterprise, the Senior Data Scientist contributes valuable insights to guide decision-making and drive strategic initiatives. With a focus on delivering heightened value, they navigate ambiguous problem domains, leading the team in tackling sophisticated analytical tasks. In addition to their analytical prowess, Senior Data Scientists actively mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Their overarching goal is to elevate the data science capabilities of the organization, ensuring impactful contributions to business objectives.

- Hands on experience with one of the major cloud platforms preferred, Azure experience a plus
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
- Collaborative and Technical Mentor: You enjoy working alongside data engineers and analysts to bring models to life, and you naturally elevate those around you — sharing code practices, explaining modeling choices, and helping others see the “why” behind the work.
- Expert in Python and SQL, competency in Scala/Java/C++ also considered
- Significant experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods
- Experienced with data platforms like Databricks of Snowflake or processing frameworks like Apache Spark
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and tools
- Scientifically Rigor and Pragmatic: You pair strong statistical and machine learning foundations with the judgment to choose the right level of complexity. You care about sound experimentation and model validity but know that elegant, deployable solutions matter most.
- 4-8+ years of relevant experience in data analytics roles
Benefits
Salary: $150,000 - $184,000 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary 13% annual bonus is provided.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
