Engineering, Enterprise Asset Management

Description

• Analyze asset and maintenance data to inform asset life cycle planning efforts
• Lead continuous improvement project(s) to improve the overall daily operations of the Enterprise Asset Management Division and/or its partner departments and facilities.
• Assist in requirements gathering for technology solutions (e.g., materials and contract management, mobile maintenance solution, etc.).
• Transform and prepare asset and maintenance data for load to enterprise environments like IBM Maximo and ArcGIS
• Assist the Governance Team in developing standards and procedures for Asset Management focus areas (e.g., operations & maintenance improvements and asset performance).
• Analyze EAM system data to inform data quality and system integrity efforts

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, teams -based environment.
• Microsoft Excel
• Data analytics experience
• In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits interns to work remotely a maximum of one day per week. In person collaboration is essential to how the Port Authority conducts business and regular in-office days or team collaboration days may be required depending on business needs. Some internships may require interns to be fully in-person.
• Ability to opt in to the New York State and Local Retirement System
• Major in Engineering, Asset Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or Public Administration or related discipline
• Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship
