Shipper/Packer

Description

• Efficiently pick and pack production orders per pack lists
• Schedule freight shipments and coordinate carrier pickups
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain an organized warehouse
• Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Coach and train new and current employees
• Facilitate clear communication across the organization
• Verify and complete all required shipment paperwork
• Conduct quality checks to ensure standards are met
• Source and provide shipping rate quotes to sales
• Anticipate implications and prepare for contingencies (forward thinking)
• Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in work and documentation
• Carry items using hands and arms, perform repetitive wrist motions
• Walk long distances or between sites as required

Requirements

The Shipping Coordinator ensures customers receive orders promptly, undamaged, and without delivery errors. Acting as a key liaison between the company and its clients, the role requires multitasking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage fast‑paced shipping operations.

• Perform bending/stooping, lift up to 50 lb, and stand or walk frequently
• Sit for extended periods; maintain visual acuity for computer and inspection tasks
