The manager will lead a six‑person project team, organise daily and weekly priorities, chair weekly progress meetings with the client, and ensure accurate minutes and records. They will oversee weekly planning sessions using the last‑planner methodology, coordinate progress validation, and drive HSE and quality standards on site.
Key commercial duties include managing the contractor’s procurement workstream, supervising submittals with the Atkins Construction Supervision team, and acting as the employer’s representative for contractual correspondence. The manager will control project cost and budget, coordinate interim payment applications, support claim and dispute assessments, and liaise with the LDC on RFIs and design information.
The ideal candidate has 10‑15 years of senior project management experience, preferably with Western education or work for large multinational contractors/consultants, and a proven track record in the GCC, especially KSA. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is required, and experience with mixed‑use developments of ~260,000 m² BUA, FIDIC Red Book contracts, and fixed‑price lump‑sum delivery is desirable.
