The Automation Validation Engineer develops, tests, and troubleshoots autonomy software for autonomous machines, integrating validation work with existing machine systems and supporting sub‑systems such as planning, perception, and positioning. Collaboration with other engineers ensures internal and external client needs are met.
A strong quality focus drives thorough test planning, execution, and detailed documentation of issues. The role requires advanced data and systems analysis to resolve complex problems, as well as clear communication of technical status updates and test plan reviews.
Candidates should possess industry knowledge, problem‑solving expertise, software testing experience, and technical troubleshooting skills. Relevant experience includes autonomous systems validation, Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer), Linux, and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
