  • Experience in business development efforts, including preparing proposals and leading marketing efforts.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail along with overall quality control and management.
  • Ability to grow the transportation planning practice in NC and support other initiatives, including both projects and staff
  • Ability to lead associates with varying levels of technical and professional experience to support the local practice development.
  • AICP or Certification preferred.
  • Facilitation skills with leading public engagement and stakeholder meetings.
  • 10+ years of progressive transportation planning experience, with at least 5 years of project management experience.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • NCDOT, MPO, and municipal client experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited university. Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related field from an accredited university preferred.
