Element has an opportunity for an Entry-Level Machinist (fixed term, up to 3 months) to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the Operations team, this role performs a variety of routine and non‑routine machining assignments within the assigned department. Under direct supervision, the Machinist ensures accurate and timely preparation of test specimens in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
The work is primarily performed in a laboratory and machine shop environment, requiring adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment. Moderate physical effort is required, including the ability to lift less than 50 lb frequently and to stand for extended periods.
The position offers a salary of $22‑$24 per hour depending on experience and requires proficiency in core business and safety practices, including adherence to established safety rules, the company code of conduct, and all applicable policies and procedures.
