  • Raise further work as appropriate e.g. NMA, Meter Services, others
  • Locate stop taps and private services
  • Update mobile device
  • Identifying and locate leaks on customer service pipes
  • Undertake customer disconnection, shut offs and supply restoration
  • Arrange for domestic disconnections
  • Investigate and validate domestic customer consequential damage claims
  • Set up, operate and remove standpipes
  • Carry out network risk assessments
  • Manage the resolution of leaks on customer service pipe including liaison with the NMA
  • Complete red lining activities
  • Provide incident and event support
  • Install/remove loggers in support of resolving customer pressure and flow issues
  • Undertake Non Regulatory sampling activities
  • Ensure PPE and company vehicles are maintained in line with H&S policy
  • Take samples chlorine residual and phosphate to prove potential leaks
  • Identifying and locating leaks that are customer generated on UU apparatus
  • Responsible for ensuring Customer appointments are attended and issues resolved
  • Undertake network valve operations
  • Investigate insurance claims
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders

  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service focus and be able to resolve customer issues
  • A valid UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge and experience in the operation of water networks and leakage detection and repair techniques
  • A good level of competency in the use of relevant IT packages
  • GCSE grade C or above, City and Guilds, or ability to demonstrate technical and customer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as effectively as part of a team
