Construction Project Manager

Description

Supervision includes ensuring adequate manpower, verifying performance quality, and maintaining schedule and safety compliance.

You will work closely with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership to deliver successful, high-quality projects that exceed client expectations.

To deliver dependable, high-quality multifamily reconstruction solutions through teamwork, transparency, and long-term client partnerships.

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on the critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Identify areas of work outside the contracted scope.
• Perform project estimating, buyouts, and issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Attend/run pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for revisions.
• Ensure subcontractors fully execute their contracted scopes of work.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Attend or conduct OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) and OEC meetings.
• Conduct progress and closeout punch lists.
• Assist with budgeting, bidding, and awarding subcontracts for larger projects.
• Support superintendents in maintaining safe, clean, and compliant job sites.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications.
• Manage ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals, communicating all updates to the project team.
• Manage multiple job sites simultaneously.
• Monitor jobsite safety and general conditions.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily reconstruction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role oversees estimating, buyouts, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and safety across all assigned projects. The Project Manager ensures that design specifications are met, budgets are adhered to, and work progresses according to schedule.

• Must not report to work under the influence or hungover.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily or similar construction trades preferred.
• Computer literacy required; Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Strong planning, organizing, and time-management skills.
• Communication: Clear, consistent, and honest at all levels.
• Clear, concise verbal communication and strong presentation skills.
• Proficient in blueprint reading.
• Effective written communication with attention to detail.
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable project management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to adapt to frequent change and unexpected jobsite challenges.
• High level of professionalism, follow-through, and accountability.
• Multifamily project experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned job sites.
• Strong ability to identify deficient work and implement resolution.
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and navigate full job sites, including elevated areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
• Experience monitoring jobsite safety and compliance.
• Must pass random drug screenings.
• Strong communication abilities via phone, email, written logs, computer, smartphone, and tablet.
• Must maintain an alcohol-free jobsite at all times.
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities with professionalism.
