Section Manager - Theming

Description

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the section, which may include rides, food and beverage outlets, retail stores, and entertainment venues
• Contributing to budget development, monitoring expenses, and maximizing revenue streams within the section to achieve financial targets
• Focusing on delivering a safe, enjoyable, and immersive experience for visitors, analyzing feedback to drive improvements in satisfcation
• Liaising with other departments, such as marketing, sales, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure cohesive operations and support for promotional activities
• Ensure all visual elements, attractions, and guest area within the assigned section adhere to the park's specific theme and design standards
• Managing, mentoring, and motivating a diverse team of staff and department heads, including training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution
• Ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations, local ordinances, and company policies, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Responding to and resolving critical incidents, including guest complaints, maintenance issues, and emergencies, in a calm and effective manner

Requirements

• Understanding of business strategies, financial reports, and operational metrics to drive performance and profitability
• A capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs and technologies
• Significant experience in operations or management within the entertainment, hospitality, or theme park industry required
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for managing a diverse workforce and interacting with various stakeholders
• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems under pressure to manage daily challenges and emergencies
