Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk

Description

• Submit credit applications.
• Prepare written reports and analysis as requested.
• Reconciling monthly vendor/supplier statements
• Verifying and entering vendor/supplier invoices into computerized system.
• Investigate and resolve questions from vendors/suppliers regarding payment status.
• Schedule and process payments on a weekly basis for approved invoice to vendors/suppliers.
• Organize and match receipts to corresponding invoices.

Requirements

• Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude who is dependable, flexible and detail oriented.
• Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), working knowledge of computerized accounting systems (familiarity with COINS OA and Sage is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Associate’s degree in business, Accounting or related field is preferred, but not required.
• The ability to work independently as well as a team player.
