We are seeking a Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) Practice Leader for the Intelligent Mobility National Business Line. The role oversees a diverse portfolio that includes TSMO, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), V2X solutions, digital infrastructure, road usage charging, managed lanes, tolling/congestion pricing, and mobility‑as‑a‑service initiatives. The position is open to any U.S. WSP office with remote‑work flexibility, and requires 10–25 % travel for project support and business development.
Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in engineering, transportation planning, public policy or a related field, at least 15 years of transportation industry experience, and demonstrated leadership, client networking, analytical, quantitative and communication skills. Candidates must have U.S. work authorization, be active in relevant professional organizations, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies. Preferred qualifications feature proven success deploying ITS, V2X and TSMO programs for state and federal DOTs and recognized thought leadership in innovative mobility initiatives.
Typical weekly allocation consists of 70 % project delivery (task management, research, analysis, technical writing, client workshops), 20 % business development (strategy, lead generation, proposals, interviews), and 10 % thought leadership (white papers, presentations, industry events).
