Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies and cycle count inventory variances, provide recommendations to corrections and mitigation plans
Track all inventory arriving and departing the warehouse, while updating transactions to allocate charges and ensure accurate costing to the requesting department
Receive and validate purchase orders into the warehouse management system to ensure accuracy in the ordering department’s costs
Supervise all checkpoint verification requirements executed by the Inventory Control team and work with Warehouse Management to address areas of concern demonstrating reoccurring mistakes
Follow department expectations to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product, all while safeguarding inventory unit costs
Generate and review production kitchen and restaurant costing recipes
Assist with any month-end close tasks required of Inventory Control at the beginning of the month and in the week leading up to the close of the monthly financials
Collaborate with F&B and department leaders to research and address recipe and/or inventory costing concerns, provide recommendations on cost control
Oversight of the inventory control team regarding the daily cycle count processes in the main warehouses, the monthly cycle counts for the property, and the frequent inventory validations for the retail stores
Work with the Manager of Inventory Control regarding the implementation and achievement of department goals
Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records
Work with the Manager of Inventory Control and execute actions including, but not limited to, the guidance, leadership development, performance reviews, and discipline of the Inventory Control team

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, such as technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
Excellent organizational skills; be able to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail
Two (2) years prior experience in an accounting position, preferably in the Inventory Control department for a large-scale resort and casino preferred
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, Members, and other outside contacts
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of Company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information
Ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing work situations and environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
