Achieves a 70% to 75% utilization goal by actively leading or supporting projects.
Facilitates the identification of project delivery team requirements (experience, expertise, availability) for critical projects
Participates in internal and/or external technical working groups or practice groups. Leads the implementation of technical standards, guidelines, tools, and recommended practices within their respective Area.
Relay event analysis
Partners with Area Leadership to support area level technical and delivery staff recruitment and retention
Active participant in ongoing technical working groups (both internally and externally)
Leads the technical review or proposals and statements of qualifications.
Facilitates projectlevel lessons learned meetings or workshops.
Participates and supports the local area/region in Go/NoGo’s, proposal development, and strategic pursuits within the System Protection and Studies Business Class.
Partners with Global BC Leads to support the implementation of BC Initiatives at the Area Level.
Drives HDR’s Quality Processes and Procedures including implementing business class specific quality process enhancements and leading Project Approach and Resource Review (PARR) meetings.
Responsible for staff’s technical development and mentorship including deploying technical onboarding, internal and external technical and/or business class training content, and technical mentorship for Area BC staff.
Relay setting development for a wide range of applications for medium and high voltage systems
Power system modeling using software such as ASPEN OneLiner and Gridscale X Advanced Protection Assessment

Experience mentoring and coordinating workshare with multiple area offices.
Use of a wide variety of microprocessor based and electromechanical relay makes and models (SEL, GE, ABB, Basler, Westinghouse, etc.)
Power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, stability, electromagnetic transients, and more
Subject matter expert or strong knowledge of a variety of system protection and studies concepts such as:
Knowledge and experience that align with Area and Regional clients, stakeholders, and regional industry standards/committees
Strong knowledge of best practices, industry standards, and codes related to system protection and studies
Experience designing and/or reviewing substation control drawings such as onelines, threelines, DC schemes, logic diagrams etc. with specific attention to system protection
