Assists during construction phases, including review of shop drawings and RFIs.
Participates in project design meetings and coordination sessions, providing technical input as needed.
Prepares bid documents, construction drawings, and specifications in collaboration with the project team.
Coordinates with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to integrate special systems into overall project design.

Applies previous project experience to telecom and security systems design, including access control door layouts, camera placement, operations center workstation design, and security network/server architecture.
Strong knowledge of low voltage, telecom, technology, A/V, and security systems design
Ability to maintain discretion and uphold company standards.
Understanding of engineering design packages and production workflows (Project Definition, Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bid Support, Construction Administration).
RCDD, PSP, PMP, CTS, NICET4, or CCNA beneficial but not required.
Communicates technical concepts effectively to team members and stakeholders.
5-years minimum Telecom, Security, Low Voltage, or Special Systems design experience required; if a degree is not held, an additional 5 years relevant experience required
Aviation/transportation background preferred
Knowledge of QA/QC process and ability to produce technically accurate deliverables.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related professional experience
