Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Serve as a sellerdoer generating work, creating longterm relationships and delivering longterm value to clients for Stantec
• Serve as a local leader to inspire our team, represent integrated design, and reinforce the global brand of Stantec
• Develop and maintain industry relationships and visibility with current and prospective clients, subconsultants, competitor/teaming partners, and potential recruits
• To interface regularly with architectural and engineering leaders across your region and across North America to thrive and contribute within the integrated design practice
• To be an Electrical and Engineering project leader for the design and delivery of strategic and major projects.
• Support in recruitment and retention efforts for top tier staff across the organization
• Contribute to the thought leadership and brand of Stantec, by sharing knowledge and innovation stories at key client engagements, industry events and across professional networks
• Collaborate with technical and managerial project leads to achieve key operational performance metrics including traditional financial metrics as well as demonstrating improved project outcomes for the projects we deliver
• Lead local and regional business development pursuits including prepositioning, strategic proposal development inclusive of architecture and engineering professionals, to achieve business development and financial goals in accordance with Stantec policies

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consultingservices provider
• Technical understanding of Electrical Engineering for Buildings facilities, with direct design experience in Power, Lighting and Low Voltage systems, including Technology applications.
• Acumen related to project delivery innovations in IPD, APD, Modular approaches and related advancements.
• Ability to lead project teams across a range of project types and scales with proven ability to balance a book of business in this regard
• Strong business development skills, including significant experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with a client base—a sellerdoer capable of generating work and creating longterm relationships and delivering longterm value to clients for Stantec
• Demonstrated design and planning acumen and leadership on major projects
• Experience with strategic prepositioning for pursuits inclusive of engagement strategies, responding to Expression of Interests, Statements of Qualifications, Requests for Proposals, formal interviews, and professional fee and contract negotiations
• Recent experience in Buildings Electrical Engineering with interest in multisector markets.
• Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, teambuilding and team engagement talent
• Knowledge of market assessment techniques and insights along with ability to create aspirational and achievable business plans
