Monitor, identify and address training needs and hold Personal Development Reviews and Career Pathways according to GSS procedures.
Lead monthly service reviews with Business Unit senior leadership, driving deeper engagement and value
Monitoring all legal notices, reminders, and court action threats to manage query levels and maintain legal correspondence within acceptable limits.
Coordinate staff holidays and other absences, ensuring all are recorded and processed correctly.
Manage the Contract Services team, delivering performance against KPIs whilst fostering a culture of development, engagement and excellence. Provide support, mentoring and coaching to establish a high-morale culture and enable staff to fulfil all responsibilities effectively and accurately.
Identify opportunity and risk areas within Contract Services and exploit/mitigate accordingly.
Preparation of team budget and reforecasts within group reporting timetable, where costs are controlled within budget and reforecasts.
Resolving escalated queries in a timely manner, applying root cause analysis and a continuous improvement mindset to improve future customer service.
Establishing vision and direction of the department and the wider Transactional Services team.
Proactive analysis of Contract Services team workloads, ensuring maximum value is achieved.
Effective stakeholder management, building effective relationships across the organisation, driving first class customer service.
Maintain close contact with the Accounts Payable and master data team to ensure smooth dependencies are in place.
Project Management. Leading project workstreams to deliver process efficiencies or technical developments in line with respective project charters

Strong experience in a Commercial / Procurement team.
Experience managing a team in a high volume, fast paced environment.
IT and ERP (SAP) literate is considered an advantage.
IT Proficiency: IT literacy, including familiarity with relevant accounting software (SAP experience preferred, but not mandatory as training will be provided).
