Electrofishing and fish identification
Environmental assessment writing (e.g. Fisheries Act, Water Sustainability Act)
A clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
Eligible for R.P. Bio designation
A minimum of a Bachelor of Science or appropriate Technologist Degree;
Strong oral and written communication skills including writing clear and concise reports, preparing documents to a professional standard, emailing and speaking with contractors or regulators.
An understanding and experience working with the Fisheries Act, Water Sustainability Act, Riparian Areas Regulation, and local By-laws is beneficial.
Project experience in one or more of the following:
A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible as part of a team of multidisciplinary biologists.
