The Engineering Leader role provides technical leadership for the functional, physical, commissioning, and project engineering disciplines of electrical, power, and modular design. The incumbent will manage engineering aspects of engineering‑procurement‑construction (EPC) projects, serve as client liaison, and oversee engineering finances and meetings. This position focuses on engineering expertise rather than direct personnel management. Candidates are expected to be experts in industrialized construction processes with a strong interest in modular design.

Projects under this role range from $50 million to over $200 million, covering 500,000 to 800,000 sq ft and involving 30 to 400 personnel depending on the stage. The most urgent openings are in Richmond, VA; Aldie, VA; Boydton, VA; and Atlanta, GA. Successful candidates will bring extensive design, build, and delivery experience for mission‑critical electrical systems. The role requires a bachelor’s engineering degree, 12‑15 years of experience, and preferably a Professional Engineer license.
- Design experience in mission‑critical facility electrical engineering and calculation skills
- Interest or experience in modular electrical construction manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in a construction‑related engineering discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, etc.)
- 12–15 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
- Proficiency with Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, MS Office, ETAP/SKM, AGI32, and related software
- Ability to work extended periods at a computer and seated
- Capability to reach and manipulate objects with fine finger dexterity
- Strong listening, speaking, and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to apply general rules to solve specific problems
