  • Collaborating with other departments—such as safety case, contaminated land, technical advisory, and engineering—to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Supporting radiation protection activities, including drafting local rules and ionising radiation risk assessments.
  • Providing timely and robust technical expertise in radioactive waste management.
  • Advising on waste characterisation, treatment, storage, packaging, and consignment.
  • Assisting with project controls and bid preparation.
  • Producing high-quality technical reports such as Waste Strategies, BAT studies, Sampling Plans, and Packaging Proposals.
