As a Manufacturing Supervisor in Olathe, KS, you will lead a manufacturing team, manage daily operations, hire and develop staff, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety, and meet on‑time delivery, quality, inventory, and financial goals.
- Lead manufacturing team, oversee daily operations, and foster a productive, collaborative work environment.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop employees; conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions.
- Promote a safe workplace by enforcing safety guidelines, performing inspections, and addressing hazards promptly.
- Coordinate with production planning to meet schedules, ensure on‑time delivery, and maintain high product quality.
- Manage inventory, monitor scrap, and achieve labor productivity targets daily.
- Utilize ERP and other technologies to generate performance reports, track KPIs, and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and implement continuous‑improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

The role requires an on‑site presence in a plant environment that may involve exposure to harsh weather, heat, and noise, and includes physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb and frequent movement around the facility.
- Require at least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing; preferred experience in unionized settings and HVAC industry.
- Require strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, lean methods, and ERP systems.
- Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
