The Director of Research Training is responsible for the end‑to‑end learning strategy of the Research organization. This role designs, governs, and measures curriculum across onboarding, the Nest program, and ongoing education, ensuring new hires are onboarded, managers are equipped to coach, and experienced researchers continue to develop. Collaboration with Corporate L&D, Product, IT, Research Operations, and senior leadership aligns training with evolving tools and business objectives.
Key duties include building a training strategy linked to OKRs, establishing curriculum governance, managing a multi‑month training calendar, and delivering the Week 1 foundations and Nest onboarding schedule. The director also creates continuous‑education tracks, issues digital badges, drives change‑management initiatives using Prosci/ADKAR, and develops analytics dashboards to quantify training impact. People leadership responsibilities cover hiring and coaching training managers, implementation specialists, and nest trainers, while ensuring compliance with HR and legal standards.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and bring at least seven years of learning‑and‑development experience, with four years of leading large training programs. Proven success in building end‑to‑end curricula, improving operational KPIs, and managing change is required, along with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Preferred credentials include experience with digital badge certification, a background in commercial real‑estate, and a track record of supporting international training programs.
CoStar offers a collaborative and innovative culture, competitive compensation, and performance‑based incentives. The benefits package features comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and prescription coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, annual bonus potential, tuition reimbursement, an on‑site fitness facility, and generous paid time off. Employees also receive life, legal, and supplementary insurance, as well as opportunities for internal training and an inter‑office exchange program.
