Act as the key interface between Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Subcontracts throughout design and execution.
Provide construction oversight during the Detailed Design phase, ensuring design deliverables support safe, efficient construction methodologies.
Collaborate with Planning and Project Controls to accurately forecast labour, progress, and resource demands.
Ensure design changes are fully assessed for construction impact and coordinated across disciplines.
Attend daily, weekly, and monthly project meetings, providing clear updates on E&I work scope, risks, and progress.
Lead the safe and timely preparation and execution of the E&I construction scope, ensuring compliance with project HSEQ standards, site procedures, and safety targets.
Assess and escalate any potential construction growth, ensuring approved adjustments are reflected within project schedules and estimates.
Lead constructability reviews, identifying opportunities for optimisation and supporting the resolution of engineering design issues.
Interface closely with engineering teams to ensure all E&I engineering deliverables (including P&IDs, SLDs, drawings, and datasheets) meet project requirements and align with AWP methodology.
Communicate effectively with project management, stakeholders, and client-side representatives, escalating issues early to support project delivery.
Support site surveys, walkdowns, and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure alignment on construction readiness.
Manage and review AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) construction workpacks, confirming readiness in terms of materials, tooling, safety, sequencing, access, and constructability.
Coordinate closely with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams to avoid work clashes and ensure smooth sequencing across disciplines.

Proven experience overseeing or interfacing with Detailed Design and project planning phases.
Proven HSSE leadership and an “Incident Free” mindset.
Demonstrated experience of leading teams and supporting knowledge transfer.
Understanding of how construction, commissioning, and operations phases integrate across the full project lifecycle.
Minimum HNC in an engineering-related subject, or equivalent technical apprenticeship with supporting qualifications.
Strong background in E&I construction execution, ideally within major energy, industrial, or power generation projects.
Fully conversant with project management systems, construction processes, and industry best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working within multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams.
Experience working on large, complex onshore industrial or energy construction sites.
First 6–9 months: London office, 5 days per week

Ability to adapt project execution strategies to meet evolving design and construction requirements.
High level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
