GC Chemist

Description

• Develop GC methods and execute method validation, verification, and transfer
• Independently perform advanced GC testing of raw materials and finished products
• Operate GC instruments with headspace and direct injection capabilities
• Support investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections
• Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation and mentor junior chemists

Requirements

• Experience in pharmaceuticals and QC chemistry
• Creative work: 40% of your time will involve method development, validation, and transfer—skills typically associated with R&D.
• 5+ years of experience in GC methods development, validation, and transfer
• Strong troubleshooting skills with GC instrumentation
• Familiarity with cGMP standards and compliance
• Location: Queens, NY (shorter commute for many LI professionals!)
