Construction Superintendent

• Organize, plan and adhere to aggressive construction schedules
• Ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
• Maintain site security and cleanliness
• Document construction activities and occurrences
• Follow commitments through to resolution
• Coordinate weekly sub-contractor and owner meetings
• Foresee and resolve construction obstacles that may affect construction schedule or job costs
• Identify potential obstacles that may affect construction schedule or job costs
• Delivery a high-quality final product
• Update and manage construction schedules through project closeout
• Oversee construction activities - Coordinate sub-contractors, vendors, and clients onsite work

Position Summary: The Construction Field Manager is responsible for the day-to-day on-site field operations of the project. This includes scheduling sub-contractors for all trades and ensuring execution of the sub-contractor agreement. The Field Manager should be efficient, flexible, calm under pressure, and pay close attention to execution of all trades scope of work. This position requires excellent written/verbal communication and confidence managing tough sub-contractors. The Field Manager is responsible for the project schedule, cost, project quality, and safety.

• Great eye for quality
• 5 Years of construction experience in the field
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent written & verbal communication
• Familiarity with construction contracts
• First Aid & CPR training
• OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour certification
• Experience with light commercial or high-end residential
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of construction drawings and specifications (Architectural / Civil / MEP)
• Efficient, flexible, and calm in changing environments
