- Assist the Marketing team in the proposal process, including info gathering, resume creation, document layout, proposal submission, and interview presentations.
- Monitor websites for new project opportunities.
- Support special events and trade shows.
- Develop layout and graphic design skills in Adobe software (emphasis on InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Proofread and review marketing materials for aesthetics and compliance.
- Update the relationship management (CRM) system.
- Travel between Apex offices and client locations to deliver proposals as needed.
- Collaboration with more than two dozen Apex Marketers across the country.

- Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.
- 0‑3 years of professional experience.
- Foundational writing and editing abilities; graphic design skills a plus.
- Ability to learn Adobe InDesign.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
- Availability for occasional event support during non‑business hours, such as community events.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills with attention to detail.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to work in‑person at the Fort Myers office; hybrid arrangement possible pending training and performance.
