• Prepare and update shop drawings from contract documents
• Read and interpret construction drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel
• Check drawings for accuracy before approval or fabrication
• Enter and maintain drawing updates in project files
• Support coordination between detailing, fabrication, and field teams
• Participate in training on company and industry detailing standards
• Perform basic measuring and data collection during supervised site visits
• Assist the Project Manager and subcontractors with entry‑level duties

Requirements

Aristeo is seeking an entry‑level Jr. Detailer to join its steel construction team. The role reports to the Steel Fabrication Manager and provides support throughout steel fabrication projects, from drawing preparation to project completion. This position is ideal for candidates with basic drafting or CAD training who want hands‑on experience in the industry.

• Basic understanding of drafting principles; CAD familiarity a plus
• Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• 2‑4 year college degree required; drafting or engineering coursework preferred
• No prior steel detailing experience required; training provided
