Field Service Engineer - Automation Industry

Description

As part of the automation support team, you will partner with system integrators and manufacturers to keep projects moving, handling on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, and performing startup and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems. Travel follows rotating schedules such as 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, or 14 on‑7 off, giving you exposure to new locations and challenges.

• Support data‑center startups with on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems in food & beverage industries.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate on‑site systems.
• Communicate clear updates to customers and project teams to ensure smooth progress.
• Follow travel rotations (e.g., 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, 14 on‑7 off) delivering projects in varied locations.
• Walk long distances across large facilities or job sites.
• Climb ladders, stairs, or work at heights.
• Work in varied environments such as construction sites, outdoors, hot or cold conditions.
