The Senior Construction Manager will direct subcontractor coordination, develop and implement construction management plans, and oversee quality, safety, schedule, and budget control to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
- Develop Project Management and Construction Management Plans.
- Implement contract administration procedures for documents, changes, cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Conduct procurement, constructability, and value‑engineering reviews and define subcontract scopes.
- Review subcontract terms, manage performance, and present construction updates.
- Oversee overall construction activities and monitor design progress against construction needs.
- Organize local bidding efforts and obtain field quotations.
- Assist in purchasing, issuing purchase orders, and assembling subcontract packages.
- Manage document control, submittal reviews, shop drawings, and pay applications.
- Prepare, issue, and negotiate change orders.
- Analyze and maintain baseline and updated construction schedules.
- Control project budget, schedule, and generate progress, cost, and schedule reports.
- Coordinate quality assurance, inspections, and ensure subcontractor health‑ and safety compliance.
- Set up project sites, temporary facilities, and handle additional duties as required.

Physical requirements include the ability to inspect work sites independently, lift up to 50 lb, read and interpret plans, perform basic calculations, and hold a valid Texas driver’s license. Candidates must work effectively with minimal supervision and communicate clearly in person, by phone, and via email.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience), at least 10 years of construction planning and management experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam), and strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction. Preferred credentials are a Professional Engineer license, Certified Construction Manager certification, and experience with estimating, scheduling, and collaboration software.
- Required qualifications: bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 10+ years construction planning/management experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software (Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam), strong stakeholder communication, commitment to employee‑owned culture; no visa sponsorship available.
- Preferred qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license, Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification, experience with estimating and collaboration software.
