Track attendance data, analyze trends, and prepare reports and memos related to attendance and scheduling metrics.
Support a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment.
Monitor staffing levels to ensure proper coverage; reassign staff or adjust schedules as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Maintain and enhance the scheduling system; troubleshoot issues and liaise with software providers to resolve technical concerns.
Collaborate with management to develop schedules, process leave requests, and ensure all electronic timecards are completed accurately and on time.
Provide leadership, guidance, and day-to-day oversight to the scheduling team.
Resolving payroll errors in timecards, troubleshooting, sound knowledge of payroll processing, scheduling, and providing accurate time card solutions and in compliance with CBA & employment standards (OPSEU 249 & ONA).
Act as the primary point of contact for staff scheduling inquiries, clarifying policies and ensuring consistent application of scheduling procedures.
Ensure adherence to shift rules and collective agreement requirements, including breaks, hours of work, and time-off codes (e.g., sick, emergency, personal, bereavement).

Familiarity with attendance management programs and related reporting.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory scheduling role; experience within a 24/7 unionized environment preferred.
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and scheduling software.
Community College Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and maintenance of vaccination status as required.
Strong working knowledge of online scheduling systems and their integration with other business applications (SSC -Staff Schedule Care highly preferred).
Understanding of employment legislation and collective agreement compliance.
