Responsible for ensuring the quality of your own work through self-review and adherence to established standards.
Coordinate with technical personnel to gather and record data for design projects and complete as-built and record print revisions from marked drawings.
Support assigned tasks while learning to work within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
Assist in preparing applications and supporting documentation for engineering permits when necessary.
Responsible for creating and revising drawings and documentation for substation projects, in AutoCAD, from scope documents, engineering sketches and/or verbal instructions.
Engage in mentorship and structured learning opportunities with experienced engineers and designers to build foundational skills.
Support client interactions by communicating professionally and learning to understand client expectations.
Developing written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and engage effectively with team members.
Participate in occasional site walks for current projects. Less than 5% travel.

Foundational understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Introductory ability to effectively read/understand and develop construction drawings.
Adaptable and eager to learn, with a foundational ability to collaborate with project teams in a multi-discipline environment.
Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CAD) or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology
Interest in electrical distribution design. Past experience is a plus.
Developing analytical and organizational skills, with growing attention to detail and a willingness to learn problem-solving approaches.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment, working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines.
